Stronger security for your Start.io (formerly StartApp) account with two-factor authentication.

There are many actions that may put you in risk and can lead to a stolen password (for example using the same password on more than one site).

Two-factor authentication can help keep hackers out, even if they have your password.

Start.io (formerly StartApp) uses two-factor authentication for specific sections in which the information is highly sensitive (changing passwords, emails, and financial information.)

With  two-factor authentication, we  add an extra layer of security to your account.

The two step process will apply in the following sections:                                                                                   

My account 

Enter My account , choose to update e-mail\password:

Click on the button, an authentication e-mail with a token will be sent to the account e-mail address.

Insert the token received via e-mail and press Submit.

You should get this message:

Publisher- Payment settings

Enter your payment settings menu:

Click on the button, an authentication e-mail with a token will be sent to the account e-mail address.

Insert the token received via e-mail and press Submit.

You should get this message:

Advertiser - Update billing details

Once you update any of your billing details, this window will pop up:

Insert the token received via e-mail and press Submit.

You should get this message:

Security token

• Each token will expire after 15 minutes if it wasn’t activated
• The token expires after 5 wrong attempts
• Once the token is inserted and validated, it will apply for the next 24 hours, during this time you will be able to update details as mentioned above without the need for another token
